My daughter had come to me expressing anxiety about my wishes (and those of her dad) in the event of possible incapacitation and eventual death. I had, and have, absolutely no problem with this discussion, but it’s not easy to think it all through, cover everything, and come up with concise wishes and decisions, to say nothing of properly filed documentation! Then I heard Ms Dunne talking about The Journey Folder on the radio and there was the solution. I immediately went to the website and ordered one.
I cannot recommend The Journey highly enough. It covers absolutely everything and is easy to follow and complete. You have to find all the relevant information, but that’s a good thing and I am still struggling with getting the EPOA organised, but that’s my fault. Plus I keep thinking if things and jotting them down to be added. It is a beautiful book, beautifully presented and organised.
When I showed it to my daughter she was quite emotional and very grateful. For my part, I am delighted to make life easier for those left behind. A big weight off everyone’s mind.
Thank you.
