It is an excellent well presented folder encapsulating all aspects of what to do when the owner of the folder passes. It takes some time and thought to complete it and update it as required.

The 2 Journey Folders are absolutely beautiful with accompanying pen. This is just the first step, now myself and hubby have to continue the journey in beginning to complete it's contents. This will take time and consideration but for both of us it will be a wonderful gift to have for each other and also for our children at a later date. ❣️

I only recently bought the Journey and haven't started to fill it in yet but I had a look through it and I am very impressed with it. There are parts of it that I wouldn't have considered doing. It's layout looks really user friendly. I'm delighted I bought it, it definitely was a good decision.

Im delighted I purchased this folder. As someone who lives alone i have always been a tad anxious by the thought of the mayhem and confusion left on the shoulders of those we leave behind. The Journey is concise, practical, clear, and gives me a sense of control, even when I have no more control. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful presentation, very well laid out & easy to follow. I purchased The Journey in November 2025 just after my husband died. I had been following Jacqueline on line & always found her advice & legal expertise very informative & not weighed down by "legal jargon". I am in the process of gathering all necessary documentation & financial details pertaining to my late husband's estate in order that my solicitor can complete probate. I found having a copy of The Journal invaluable as I worked through the minefield of administration required to bring everything up to date. My husband & I both had Wills made but, unfortunately, we were in the process of completing our Power of Attorney when he died so there was a lot to come to terms with & work through which I am finding difficult, as well as trying to manage my grief. As a result, I am in the process of filling in my own wishes & details in my copy of the Journal so my next of kin & executors won't have similar difficulties when I die. I spoke to my brother today & showed him The Journal & he was so impressed that I am about to purchase a copy for him so he can be equally prepared in the event of his Death. Thank you Jacquelyn!

I’ve been working on The Journey Folder for a month now and can comfortably say that it is the most thorough organizer I’ve ever worked with. That is saying something as I am a strong manager of important details and documents so they can be easily found by me for starters and by my attorneys should I need assistance later on. Once I reached 70 I realized how important it was to have people at the ready to help as needed and to make that job as easy as I could for them by detailing everything about our wills, EPA’s, banking, household maintenance, service contracts and our wishes when we could not properly look after ourselves or on our deaths. Thank you so much for doing this folder. It will make life easier for any who decide to use it.

Love this, its a game changer. Firstly it's bright & won't be overlooked amount folders, every thing is laid out in easy user friendly parts and lots of things I wouldn't have thought of are included ( section on pets)- it has also jogged me to put my land in both our names (ment to do it 20 years ago) so we won't even need probate or the time and money spent there. Nobody is sick, we're still youngish but this is the best thing we have done after paying off the mortgage

I bought this beautifully presented journal and pen last year having followed some excellent videos on Instagram. My younger sister had passed away afew years earlier. It was quite a complicated ordeal gathering all the necessary information for probate. Much of it I wasn't aware of.

This journal provides all the necessary questions, cleverly itemised in sections. It covers all areas possible, putting your mind at rest as you complete each part. You can choose how much/how little information you record. It covers all essentials.

It has put my mind at rest but more importantly has made me proactive in looking after my own affairs- sooner rather than later

Some weeks ago my facebook news feed keep showing me pages about journals to get your affairs in order before your passing. I checked on several of them and discounted them for various reasons. When I checked "The Journey.ie" my gut-feeling led me to ask a question using their website "Contact Us". I quickly received a detailed reply. A few days - and many thoughts - later I placed an order. A few days after that I received a well packaged and very well presented "The Journey" folder, which immediately left a great impression - I love attention to detail. It looks like a lot of work to complete the journey but I am sure that it will give me great peace of mind when it is complete.

The only negative is that a great product is somewhat let down by patchy after-sale product support - I had to send several emails over a period of 60 days after purchase requesting being allowed to submit a review! Still, I got there in the end 😊

Unfortunately my pen doesn't and hasn't worked. And I love a good pen.

This Journey folder is an absolute must for anyone preparing to make a will. There is so much information, tips not just on the important things but the little ones that would easily slip your mind. I've seen so many who put off arranging their affairs and very often the reason can be not knowing where to start. I've seen families in turmoil after a death, having no idea what to do, or what to do or where to find important documents etc. The Journey Folder deals with all this, in such a simple and straight forward way. There is a good bit of work to cover everything but the Journey makes is so much easier. I would highly recommend that at least one folder should be in every household!

I have just completed The Journey folder. As I come from a very small family, and have no children, I did not know how to go about outling my estate in order that those left behind would have easy access to all relevant information. The Journey is very comprehensive and covers issues I had not even thought about. Things like Digital Assetts do not apply to me so I just removed the pages.
I have included all the relevant certificates and deeds in the folder for easy reference.
Congratulations on compiling this very useful and important booklet.

I have to admit I haven't started working on it yet but it is a masterpiece. Congratulations. Don't know if you remember me...from Clonea years ago, I'm Patrique's mum. She hung out with yourself, Louise and Rose..the good old days!!

I took one look at it and was overwhelmed.
I absolutely know it’s important and valuable but don’t underestimate the things it makes you think about that you either never thought about before, or you’ve ’put on the long finger’ !

Weeks after receiving it, I’m only now about to settle down and put pen to paper so I’ll keep posted …

I bought the Journey folder a short time ago. At first glance I thought it was rather bulky, and that it my contain informatioin whihc is not relevant to me- however on reading through it I realised that it caters for everybody - you only need to complete the sections that are relevant.
There are alot of things in there, - which if recorded,- will leave things easier, after a persons passing. In a nutshell I would describe it as having all relevant information recorded, and available in the one place,. This recording planning is of immense help when a person passes.
I noted that there are a few pages for reviews - I feel this is helpful. May I share a wee story - some time ago I happened to be watching a programme on an English channel, it was to do with wills/arrangentbns etc. A solicitor outlined an example where a man had made a will leaving twenty thousand pounds to each of his gran children and the remainder of his estate to be divided amongst his children . His wife had already passed away. When he made that will he had three granchildren. However, when he passed away, he had eight granchildren. The family started to argue/fight amongst themselves as , some of them said their fAther only meant to leave money to his three grandchidren, Tom, Dick and Harry - and not the other five. The matter caused major family friction - the case ended up in court. The court accepted that maybe at the time of the making of the will that , that was the intention of the dead man - but as he had not reviewed his will, the court was bound to rule that all eight granchildren were eligible to twenty thousand pounds each. The family home had to be sold, to accomodate that payment to each of the eight granchildren - when the legal costs, and the payment to the eight gran children were taken in to account - the remainder of the estate was very small .
That same solicitor went on to say that there are millions of pounds tied up in Banks, Building Societies, Shares etc, which belonged to people who have passed. AS the information about those accounts was not shared, families are not even aware of the monies.
The Journey folder I feel, covers those eventualities, how often have people been going round in circles following the passing of a loved one - because information was not made available ?

I recently bought the Journey folder as my partner recently died very suddenly and unexpectedly, although he did leave a will there was a lot of things that couldn’t be found and took so much time , I had just done my will but thought there is so much to do and find after a death so I didn’t want this for my son to do, it’s just a brilliant golfer to have everything in one place, from bank account numbers, pension, savings etc, my son knows where is kept and I really don’t have to worry now as if anything happens to me suddenly or have a sudden illness it’s all there in one book, brilliant idea

I recently bought the Journey folder because as people in our early sixties we lost so many and know of many that have sadly passed at this age . I personally do not want to leave a legacy of hassle , litigation and endless legal bills for our children and grandchildren . The journal allows me to be pro active in my planning and guides me along my journey because of the legal background and guidance of Jacquelyn the inventor . In addition to the actual Journal you get a monthly newsletter at your perusal . Laid out with dividers , sections and pockets where documents can be stored , this journal is very high quality and if we are lucky we won’t need to pass it on for a long time to come …. Well done to one of our own and glad to support a small Irish brand .

I bought this for a friend after multiple conversations regarding how important to have all details easily accessible for those left to deal with the administration side of grief. I was in this position myself recently. I will be buying one for myself in the near future.
